Common Repository

The igniteXML repository manages schemas at their object level, not at the file or file fragment level, with schema objects either being imported into the object model or created from new in the object work bench. Any redundancy and duplication is resolved at import time so that objects in the model are unique and single-source. Re-use happens through reference links.

When using igniteXML developers edit objects, not the schemas referencing the objects. Developers are also free from working to any specific schema syntax and can focus on editing schema metadata. All developers work in their own personal workspaces with the shared object model providing the basis for team-based development.

Schemas and transformations are deployed objects from the model and developers assemble schemas and schema-to-schema mappings (transformations) from the object model. Objects can be limitlessly re-used in other structures.
